MeadowTurf™ is grown as a dense mat of native grass and wildflower species on a biodegradable erosion control blanket. Unlike conventional sod, the plant roots are not cut during hardvest. Instead, the root systems remain intact within the growing medium
This allows the product to be rolled, transported and installed without stressing the plants.
Once installed, the roots rapidly gropw into the enderlaying soil, supporting continued etablishement long-term site adaptration.
Immediate vegetative cover of the desired plant community is achived at installation.

MeadowTurf™ is supplied in a big-roll format, with two rolls per tube. Each roll measures 2' × 50', providing approximately 200 sq. ft. per tube. Typical freight is delivered by Super B, with about 60 rolls per load, or roughly 12,000 sq. ft. per shipment.
MeadowTurf™ requires approximately 12–14 weeks of nursery production prior to harvest and delivery. Stock blends are available in inventory, including Grassland, Mixed Grassland, and Riparian plant communities. Custom native species blends must be confirmed in advance to allow for proper production scheduling, and product should be shipped and installed within one year of production to help maintain species viability and diversity.
MeadowTurf™ installs much like conventional sod and can be laid using big-roll installation equipment. Rolls can also be cut into smaller pieces when needed, offering flexibility for different site conditions and layout requirements. Installation is typically about 20% slower than conventional sod because of the product’s tenderness and thickness.
After installation, MeadowTurf™ should be watered deeply every two days for the first 2–3 weeks to support establishment. The product provides immediate plant coverage at installation, helping stabilize the site quickly while the included biodegradable erosion-control matting provides additional support.
MeadowTurf™is designed to naturalize over time and require minimal maintenance once established. Its full plant coverage helps suppress weeds and limits the establishment of wind-blown weed seeds, supporting a cleaner and more resilient planting area.
After establishment, mow once annually in early spring at a height of 5–6 inches using a mulch setting. Fertilize at installation, then annually with a balanced controlled-release N-P-K product to support long-term plant health and performance.
